Founded in July 2000, ZyTemp belongs to world-class Infrared Technology-oriented thermometer manufacturer - Radiant Innovation Inc. and become a premier providerof infrared temperature measurement devices. Originally started from a professional team of engineers specializing in infrared thermometry, this company is now emerging as worldwide well-known manufacturer of infrared thermometers (IRT). Our growing production lines include various IRT that can be widely used inexpansive array of scientific, professional, academic, and personal applications.
A Strong and Highly Experience Technical TeamZyTemp is an engineering-based company with extensive experience in product development which composed of technical professionals with experience in Optoelectronics, Semiconductor, and Biotechnologies. We have been successfully certificated for quality management, development, and production because of our expert knowledge in electronics, machinery, software, firmware programming, quality control and manufacturing.
Our Driving Force - CostZyTemp used to purchase antiquated IR technologies at high costs from our suppliers. Now we realize that IRTs should not be such expensive price. We purpose to drive our cost down, make our products fit in with the marketing trend and increasingly affordable for all users. As the cost revolutions occurred in Microwave oven, Quartz watch, VCR, and TV, it's time for the IRT Now.
Excellence AboundingAccording to company's conception, ZyTemp made significant studies in engineering and production. For example, ZyTemp innovated the sub-micron IC fabrication technology to provide a cost-effective solution for our products. We also successfully utilized SoC (System-on-a-chip) ASIC technology in our IRTs, enable IRT to integrate most of the traditional PC board components onto a single ASIC. This gave us competitive advantage in producing an accurate and reliable low-cost product. ZyTemp also designed a proprietary automatic batch calibration testing process (BCP) that allows 128 sets of IRTs to be simultaneously calibrated, at a rate of eight seconds per set.
Technology
Low Voltage TechnologyZyTemp products operate with 3 Volt power supply, while many other older IRTs still require 9 Volt supply. Most of our IRTs use a small button-size battery (CR2032), which provides up to 40 hours continuous operation! TN3 IRT uses two alkaline AA batteries provide continuously 24 days operation.
Thermal Shock ImmunityZyTemp's products can effectively withstand a thermal shock of 10°C /18°F. (Please refer to the standardized test method described in EN12470, Paragraph 7.6.) Our products are good at maintaining accuracy under widely changing environmental conditions. For example, the errors from environmental changes of old IRTs can reach 1.6°C, requiring up to 30 minutes stabilizing. Compare with ZyTemp TN1, TN1’s error is only 0.7°C, restabilizing in only 7 minutes.
Special Twin Sensor TechnologyZyTemp has combined Infrared & Thermocouple measurement methods seamlessly into one thermometer (TCT series), to provide an instantaneous and accurate non-contact/contact low-cost solution.
